Wally Pacholka is an amazing photographer marrying spectacular landscapes with starscapes that a city dweller can only dream of. His pictures have made NASA's APOD (Astronomy Photograph of the Day) a remarkable 40 times!
He has been gracious enough to permit me to use some of his photos for this blog. Among my favorites are Mars and Orion over Monument Valley and The Milky Way from False Kiva.Wally recently reminded me that one of the great annual meteor showers is about due. These events are best seen with friends and without a telescope.
